MaryAnn Pisani was one of MHW's earliest employees when they launched their national import and distribution service program in 1995. Entering on the ground floor in an emerging startup gave her hands-on experience in all facets of the beverage alcohol import business, from compliance to logistics, finance, and global supply chain. In her 23 years in the industry she has helped hundreds of suppliers and thousands of products of all shapes and sizes to successfully navigate the complexity of the U.S. market. It is her range and depth of experience that makes her one of our industry's most knowledgeable women. She has served on committees for the National Association of Beverage Importers and Distilled Spirits Council. Today she is Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing the departments of Business Development and Client Relations. Prior to this role she was Chief Operating Officer, responsible for a team of 40 specialized logistics and customer service associates. She is a proven expert in developing and executing strategic human capital initiatives for large workforces in multi-location sites. Lorraine has successfully lead remote teams of Human Resources professionals along with teams providing corporate Shared Services. Prior to RNDC, Lorraine was with YUM Brands for 20 years in a variety of progressive roles in Operations, Finance, and Human Resources. While at Pizza Hut, she was consistently recognized for building teams, developing talent, and attaining positive and sustainable business results through aligned client relationships and results-oriented strategic planning and execution. Early in her career, she was the Controller for Garland Enterprises in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Melody Fuller is the Founder and President of The Oakland Wine Festival, The Oakland Wine and Food Society and The Exceptional Vine.The Oakland Wine Festival is the country's only fully seated wine festival allowing guest to spend time with winemakers in an intimate setting.The Judgment of Oakland TM is an important component of The Oakland Wine Festival. Over 100 wines are presented for the public, winemakers, media and trade to taste blind. Everyone votes on the wines they taste resulting in an annual academic report on appellation, vintage, varietal and additional analytical information.The Exceptional Vine is a global initiative to introduce youth and adults of color into the multi-billion dollar wine industry.
