The magnifier runs on Windows-based computer systems. It replaces the conventional cursor with a larger, circular cursor that can be made even larger for users who have less motor control. To acquire a target, the user places the large cursor somewhere over the target, and clicks. The Pointing Magnifier then magnifies everything under that circular area until it fills the screen, making even tiny targets large. The user then clicks with a point cursor inside that magnified area, acquiring the target. Although the Pointing Magnifier requires two clicks, its much easier to use than a conventional mouse, which can require many clicks to connect with a target.

A hands-free mouse allows you to perform computer mouse functions without using your hands. If you have a physical limitation that makes it difficult or impossible to use a traditional mouse with your hands, a hands-free mouse can be critical to accessing a computer comfortably and efficiently. With this approach, there is a wearable, but it is small, usually just a reflective dot that you can stick on your forehead. The sensing is done by a separate unit mounted on or near your computer that tracks light reflected off the dot. So this does require a line-of-sight to the computer, and can be sensitive to lighting conditions. The wearable is smaller and less conspicuous than those in the wearable sensor family, so this family may be a bit more amenable to fully independent use, if you are OK with wearing the reflective dot around.
For this family (and for all of these hands-free mice, actually), the best suggestion is to find out whether a product meets your needs on paper, then try it out yourself to really get a feel for it. This post can help you with the former, but not the latter, unfortunately.
Depending on the tasks you do, you may need another mouse system as a complement to voice control, but the combination can be quite powerful. And it can be handy to have some speech-to-mouse functions available on any Windows or Mac computer that you use, in case you are stuck without your usual equipment.

I measured the electric field radiation from two optical mice I had lying around, and they both were emitting around 400 V/m, which is actually quite a lot, and more than you should want touching your skin for 8 hours a day.
So, the first danger with modern mice is electric field radiation. However, if they are wireless mice, then you also have to worry about radio frequency EMF radiation from the Bluetooth antenna in the mouse.
Like I mentioned up above, cordless mice will always emit more EMF radiation than corded mice, simply because they have to transmit the data wirelessly, exposing you to RF radiation on top of the electric and magnetic field radiation.
